Hi I’m Ivey!

I have always had a deep passion for nature and art, I needed an outlet to express myself and this art form truly hit it for me. Teaching people the importance of wildlife and nature is what god put me on this earth to do, this art form is an amazing way to show the beauty of the creatures we’ve been taught to fear.

I was always afraid of insects growing up thought they were beautiful never wanted them to touch me. A praying mantis is what made me overcome my fear 3 years ago and now I love searching, holding, and coexisting with all these beautiful creatures!

Planting native plants to wherever you live is the first step to making a change in our natural world ensuring these beautiful creatures have space to coexist with us. I absolutely love gardening, all summer I am outside taking care of my gardens and watching all the different life that is around, I eventually want to get into landscape design and do conservation work in different areas and to teach people the importance of all these different beautiful things god created for us to nurture!

Though my yard is small the amount of native plants I’ve put into my yard has created so much space for different wildlife to have food and homes. It is such a gift seeing these creatures thriving and living their best lives in your own yard! So again PLANT NATIVE to wherever you are!

As I grow with my business my main goal is making a difference is our natural world, for now this is what god has in this chapter but I’m so excited to see what else he has in store for me!

I hope you love my work as much as I do and can get a piece that will allow you to have a piece of nature frozen in time in your home :) Thank you for your support!

Enjoy the beauty of God’s wonderful creations

The insects and botanicals I use are sustainably sourced. I grow a lot of my own botanicals or support other small businesses, and most of my insects come from a butterfly house, or I find on my walks, some are sourced from small businesses, and I also raise some that are captive bred! I do not take insects from the wild, seeing them thrive in the wild is what I want which is why I choose to source from captive bred insects, or what I find that has already passed.
